Get Into Shape Together

Many a bride is concerned about getting slimmer just for the wedding day. That often means that they feel pressured to get fit. They will willingly get into crash diets and sign up for gym memberships just to try to achieve that one size smaller waistline they’d like to have for their wedding day.
What most brides realize is that doing so puts pressure on the groom as well. Now, that can be a good thing. This means that both halves of the couple are working to get healthier. Whoever said they had to do it alone and separate? Why not just do it together and motivate each other?
There are any number of physical activities that a couple can do together to get fit. Depending on one’s interest, the range varies from simple walking together everyday to maybe doing extreme sports together. The sky literally is the limit. Some couples actually decide to get into an activity in preparation for their honeymoon.
For example, a couple who love the beach would most likely choose to have a vacation somewhere near water as well. Working out together, they can encourage each other with thoughts of how great they’ll look in their swim suits. If they are into water sports, they can work out together in preparation for trying something new like scuba diving. The preparation for that will usually be weeks ahead of time (taking classes together) and they do have to be able to rely on each other as partners. That is great motivation to get into shape together.
Dancing is a physical activity that is practical for a couple to get into together. Think of it as preparation for the first dance. Dancing gives you a high impact work out and you get to hold each other close while learning how to move together on the dance floor. Learn to do a fancy move or two just to surprise yourselves. You’ll be able to strut your stuff at your reception and amaze your guests at how absolutely hot you look together on the dance floor.
Why don’t you just enroll in a gym together? You can be motivation for each other to work out, especially on those days when you feel you have a million and one excuses not to go. You can flirt with each other while you lift weights or just talk about your coming life together while you run on the treadmill.
If running is something you both enjoy, why not challenge each other to prepare for a marathon? The point of joining this kind of race isn’t to win, though that’s a cool thing. The goal is to finish. Choose a race that neither of you have joined and you’ll need to prepare for. You can help each other get stronger and go farther each time. Before you know it you’ll be in great shape for the competition and your wedding.
How about going cycling together? You can learn to ride bikes meant for two or just go mountain biking together. It’ll be great for the heart, lungs, legs and derriere. You also burn a lot of calories with this kind of a work out and you get to see some great sites.
Just don’t forget that it has to be something that you both enjoy or one (or both) of you will quit and that’s the last thing you want. Keep it fun and effective and you may just amaze yourself at how great you both look as you walk down the aisle together.

Every bride wants to look simply beautiful on their wedding day. They want to be able to look back at their wedding pictures and say, “I looked absolutely svelte and gorgeous”. The last thing they want to say is, “I knew I should have lost more weight!”
Some brides will take the extreme route. They will stop eating. They take the crash diet method to slimness. They will try every crash diet or fad diet they can to help them achieve the weight that they want. Ladies, please don’t do this to yourselves. You will do your body harm that you may not feel immediately but will truly not be good.
Just be sensible. The formula is simple. Amount of calorie intake less the amount of calorie used equals the amount left to become fat. If you burn off everything you eat, you won’t gain. If you eat food that will help your body consume more calories, such as fiber foods, you can lose even more of your unwanted body fat without starving.
Check out the 3 hours a day diet of Jorge Cruz. His plan is simple, easy to follow and tasty. Plus, you never get hungry! Team it up with the exercises that he recommends and you’ll be on the way to a slimmer more shapely silhouette in no time.
Ladies, try not to become obsessed with your weighing scale. As all dieticians, nutritionist and fitness trainors will tell you it is normal to gain a pound or two periodically. It is also normal for you to lose no weight at some point; this is what they call a plateau. In fact some fitness trainors will tell you that rather than your weight, your BMI or body mass index and the fit of your clothes can be a better guage.
It really comes down to how much time you give your self to whip your body into shape. It takes time to achieve a sustainable form. No surgery, pill or diet can transform you into a size 2 overnight.
Don’t forget that getting the weight off will only be half the battle. Once you achieve your desired size, you will need to maintain it. You aren’t likely to keep it down if you find yourself celebrating too often. Your friends are really happy that you are getting married but you don’t need multiple shower parties.
Don’t be shy about getting into a gym. Most women feel concious because it feels like everyone is staring at them; and it may be true. You can be assured though that in a good gym, that won’t be the case. Almost everybody there will be too intent on their own routines to bother you; and the ones who do nothing but stare or whisper aren’t worth your time or attention. Just focus on your vision: lookig perfect on your wedding day. That is your motivation!
You can do it. Just set yourself an achievable goal. Have clear purpose and find a good coach then keep at it. Before you know it, you’ll be sashaying down the aisle in the body you wanted.
Your Dream Wedding : Be Healthy and Wise

It is a month or less away from your wedding day. Everything is in place. You have the church and restaurant of your choice. The menu is mouth watering and sure to satisfy everyone’s tummy. The cake not only looks gorgeous, it is delicious. All the gowns are ready. Your family and friends are all arriving. The plans for your dream wedding have been followed perfectly. All you need to do now is greet your guests as they arrive, have your shower or stag party and actually say your I dos.
There is a lot of pressure on most couples while preparing for their nuptials. With so many decisions to make and trying to fit everything into an already busy schedule, most brides and grooms are just dying to have a day or two that are wedding plan free.
That is an absolutely wonderful idea! You need time to enjoy your relationship and just savor having found each other. Go ahead and have some fun and just date.
Just a reminder: take care not to get sick. We all know that there are bugs and germs everywhere. The last thing anyone wants is to go out for a swim and come home with a cold (not to mention tan lines that may mar the look of your gown).
Here are some suggestions on how to avoid being under the weather on your wedding day:
Get sufficient sleep. Most people who live in the city keep late hours. They sleep at almost midnight, sometimes beyond and get up before seven. Our body demands quality sleep. It needs 8 hours of sleep at night. Sleeping at two in the morning until ten isn’t sufficient. The more rested the body is, the better it can fight infections.
Eat a balanced and healthy diet. Most brides are concerned with being slim and trim on their wedding day. Everyone wants to look glamorous on that special day. This does not mean however that you should starve yourself. Crash diets will cause your weight to drop for a while but they may also cause your immune system to go down. Better to carefully plan, prepare and eat balanced meals everyday.
Make sure you are getting sufficient vitamins and minerals. Make sure that your body is getting sufficient quantities of what it needs to be able to function at its best. Consult your doctor on what supplements you may take, if you choose to add this to your lifestyle.
Exercise. You don’t need to suddenly get into weight lifting or long distance running. You can join an aerobics class or dance class. Just for fun ladies, why not try pole dancing or belly dancing for fitness? It gives a great work out and you can use what you learn on your wedding night.
Prevention is the best medicine is one of the favorite sayings of our elders for a reason. It never hurts to be fit and healthy. In fact it is wise. Side benefit: you will look absolutely stunning in your wedding outfits.
