Make Your Wedding Perfect For You

When you hear the term perfect wedding, it tends to imply that everything went off like clockwork. No problems, hitches or disasters struck. Everone knew their lines and tasks and no one was late nor did anything get lost or left behind. Everyone was starry eyed and teary eyed at the sight of the two of you together.

Well, that’s one way to define a perfect wedding. Unfortunately it rarely happens that the wedding goes off with zero difficulties though you may have a great wedding coordinator who managed to keep them from you. So you blissfully sailed through your wedding none the wiser of the problems they faced to ensure your nuptials took place as planned.

How about on trying on the concept of making the wedding perfect for you instead of just making it perfect? Many a couple gets so caught up in the “dream wedding” and it being a “once in a lifetime event” that they go overboard and are unhappy with the result when they finally sit down and really take a good look at what it cost them. Better by far to craft a wedding that suits you exactly to a T and is well within your range as well.

In order to do so, it is best to create your wedding within your budget. Before you start surfing on the net, calling the shops or walking the stores, you need to sit down as a couple and work out how much you will be allocating for the wedding. Some coupes go so far as to open a joint bank account to hold the money for this just to ensure that they know exactly how much they have available and help them stay within budget.

Once you’ve figured out how much you can spend, make sure that you stay within those limits. Don’t plan on wedding gifts given in cash or your future pay checks. It is far better to rely on what you already have onhand. This way, you won’t be in debt when the wedding is over.

Feel free to accept help that is offered. Some members of your family or friends will offer to take care of a portion of your wedding. They may say they will provide your wedding favors for free or lend you their car for your wedding day. They might simply ask to give you a discount at their restaurant if you hold the wedding there. There is no shame in accepting their help. Take them in the spirit that they are given, as gifts to a good friend.

Go for substance with style. It’s all well and good to rent a fancy space, get fancy flower arrangements and all the food looks pretty. Even the waiters and the entertainers are snazzily dressed. How does it taste though? Where the waiters careful or careless? It would be far better to have a simpler arrangement, a simple but delicious buffet with less attendants wandering around and a great band playing even if they aren’t wearing ties and tails. You’ll know that you got your money’s worth.

Best of all, you must have fun at your own wedding. A perfect wedding is one where you are worry free and able to enjoy the moment. It is such a special occasion you should get to savor every moment of it.
