Creating Beauty

Craft masters will tell you, to create pretty things may not take long, but to create perfection such that their creation can be called art takes time, skill and preparation. This is true for every professional who is involved in creating your wedding. This is the reason you pay so much.
Your photographer for example needs to have an eye to both beauty and what is memorable. He or she must be quick to move and capture your every precious moment. They must also be well prepared for various lighting situations and wind factors as well. These are things we don’t think about but they as true professionals should have checked out all venues included for your wedding and prepared for it. They should even be prepared to take pictures in the rain if they have to.
Wedding dresses now come off the rack and with the help of seamstresses can be adjusted to fit you perfectly. Yet, nothing compares to having a gown made for you. These gowns are not made in three days. Most of them take weeks. Designing them alone may take some time if you want something that is uniquely yours.
Food can be prepared in less than a day true, but only if all the ingredients are there. First you need to decide what you want to eat and create a menu that is not only delicious but well balanced. Your chef can help you to decide on your perfect meal and incorporate any unique requests you may make of him given sufficient time. Your wedding dinner will hopefully look so beautiful people will want to enjoy looking at them as well as savor their taste.
Anyone can slap on makeup but only an artist can truly enhance a bride’s inner glow without making her look like she is either wearing a mask or under made up. Finding such a treasure probably took you or your friends years of trying out many artists. They too will not just suddenly show up on your wedding day and start just like that. They will normally ask you to come in at least once before your wedding for a trial run so that you can decide on your final look and make any necessary adjustments.
Your wedding souvenirs or wedding favors definitely take time. Quite a number of these are hand crafted or personalized. The more personalized your items, or the more complex and elaborate, the more time and skill is required to make it.
Let’s not forget your invitations. Even in this day and age of computes and laser printing invitations are not made overnight. The kind that is made so quickly usually is shabby work. Invitations are meant to be keepsakes and the crafters usually are doing more than just printing. They are creating the first impression your guests will have of your wedding. Don;t you think the invitations deserve a careful hand?
Every item in your nuptials requires patience, careful planning and preparation. Can you give yourself less than that? After all, you are preparing for the rest of your life not just the moment.

How much planning time do you think is the right amount to make sure everything about the wedding is perfect?
Hi ryaneven!
That’s a good question. It varies from couple to couple and how elaborate they want their wedding. For most, a year is just right so that the couple isn’t too pressured and still have a clear working timeline.
